About our home

Our home is approximately 60 years old and has undergone a couple of substantial renovations. We have lived in our home for about 40 years. It is nestled in tall trees at the base of Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver on a quiet dead-end street. We are just steps away from quaint Edgemont Village (edgemontvillage.ca) At the village you will find gourmet coffee shops, 2 restaurants, butchers, produce, gift shops, liquor store, medical clinic, bakeries and pretty much whatever else you may want or need.

We are a short distance from the base of the gondola which will take you to the top of Grouse Mountain (www.grouse.mountain.com). Whistler Mountain (whistlerblackcomb.com) is about a 90 minute drive. Downtown Vancouver is approximately 20 minutes away across the Lions Gate Bridge. The Capilano Suspension Bridge is a short walk from our home.

Public transport is two short blocks away. The local bus travels downtown via the Lions Gate Bridge or you can opt to take the Seabus to Vancouver by taking the bus to Lonsdale Quay (Lonsdalequay.com)

There are abundant walking and biking trails nearby including world famous mountain biking trails in the Seymour area (trailforks.com)

We are open to non spontaneous swaps as we have a summer cabin we can retreat to from March to October.

We are currently looking for accommodation in the Perth, Western Australia area from January 29 to February 5, 2017.
