About our home

Well equipped home provides a spa experience; indoor heated pool, jacuzzi and steamroom as well as tennis court in the backyard are all part of our home. Skiing hills, hiking and water sports within 45 mins. Satellite tv and Wii keep kids entertained. Our home has a 10-foot deep heated indoor swimming pool with diving board and swinging ropes as well as an indoor jacuzzi. There is a dining area in the pool room so you can hang out in the warmth as you look out at the snow falling. Afterwards you can head to the steam room. We have a built-in stereo system in the pool area, living room and bedrooms so you can enjoy a DVD in surround sound or listen to a CD in any room you like. Billiard table is in the basement.

From May to October we have the tennis net up on our tennis court in the backyard. Kids have a Wii and lots of games so there is plenty to keep your children entertained.

We have 2 bedrooms for couples (one king-sized bed and one queen sized bed) and 3 bedrooms with single beds ideal for kids. This is a spacious home (around 4,000 sq.ft.) with two computers hooked up to printers and internet in individual offices so no one will be tripping over each other. Our home is on a quiet cul-de-sac in the South end of Ottawa, just 5 minutes away from the airport. You can take a 15 min. scenic drive down Colonel By Drive (canal drive) into the city centre to all museums, art galleries, parliament or historic Bytown Market. Direct bus line 20-25 minutes to city centre attractions. Dow's Lake with kayaking, canoes, row boats and skating on canal in winter is just 10 minutes away.

You can cross country ski or tobaggan at Mooney's Bay, just 5 minutes away, or for more serious hiking and cross country ski trails head over to the Gatineau Park just 30 miunutes. Best time to enjoy this Park is in September (change of foliage colours) and in winter. Downhill skiing hills are about an hour away in the Gatineaus and Mont Tremblant ski resort is 2 hours away, as is Montreal.
