About our home

We renovated an old cabin in the woods and converted it to the beautiful rustic retreat that it is today after 5 years of hard work. Although it is very simple and typical of Canadiana cottage life with 1,000 square feet, heated and cooking by wood cook stove, propane gas stove, running hot water, shower, outside outhouse and inside toilet. Perfect for a family looking for a bush type holiday. There are 4 small lakes in the vicinity, 34 cottages on lake 2 and 7 cottages on our lake 3. Water activities including, fishing, kayaking, boating (we have a floating barge for 4 people). There is a deck overlooking lake. There is some solar power and also a generator for backup. There is a camp fire BBQ, and quad for use. Wonderful neighbours and cottage community with family fishing camp on lake 1.

More about us

  2. We have a second rustic cottage on a mountain lake also only 30 minutes on forestry road
  3. We love nature and enjoy life
