About our home

Built by a US Senator in 1929, this historic summer home was conceived in the grand Canadian cottage style, with cathedral ceilings, tall rustic fireplace and sweeping front verandah.

It is located on one of the most beautiful lakes in Eastern Canada, directly facing Frontenac Provincial Park. The cottage sits dramatically on a granite point jutting into the lake and is very private.

A major reconstruction is nearing completion and every effort has been made to preserve the look and feel of the original building, yet replete with every modern convenience, including a gourmet kitchen.

Staying at this historic property on Devil Lake is an experience to be remembered.
