About our home

A grand old lady of the lake. Situated on Lake Muskoka just two hours from Toronto by car. A gorgeous late 19th century timber house with a number of separate guest cottages strewn around the 2 acre island plot. The property maintains all its old world charm but with modern facilities - huge fully fitted kitchen, great showers, central heating, air conditioning, great beds, wifi and satellite TV.

The property is situated on half of a 4 acre private island just 200 feet from our own mainland landing where there is plenty of parking. We provide our guests with an 18 foot pontoon boat to use for access to the island, just a one minute boat ride.
A Canadian boating licence is required but can be easily obtained online. Please ask us how to obtain this.

For a full description please go to www.lakemuskokacottage.ca where you will see both of our Canadian vacation homes.
