About our home

I live in a nice apartment (80 sq m) in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods of the city (very central). It has 2 bedrooms (2 double beds), a living room, a dining room and a kitchen. I have all appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave), 2 HDTVs, 2 DVD/Blu-ray players, two computers with high speed Internet (including wi-fi), video games, etc. My car is a Mazda 3 (standard – up to 5 people).

My apartment is at a walking distance from the historic part of the City, city parks (especially the beautiful historic "Plaines d'Abraham", at a few steps from my place), as well as shopping districts, grocery stores, drugstores, a theatre, cafés, etc. It is a lively and trendy neighbourhood, and it is also the home of the Parliament building and of a national museum (that you can actually see from my bedroom and our balcony).

At the crossroads between Europe and North America, Québec City is a modern and dynamic city. Flanked on one side by the St. Lawrence River and the other by the Laurentians (mountains), and dotted with numerous lakes, rivers, and forests, the Quebec City area offers a multitude of sports and recreational activities all year-round. The city's vibrant cultural scene provides a rich selection of offerings year-round (numerous painters, sculptors, photographers, and multidisciplinary artists live and work in the city). You can also find major museums such as Musée du Québec and Musée de la Civilisation. Easy access to Montreal, Charlevoix and Saguenay regions.

This will be my 9th exchange. I am a public servant who loves the world! I may travel with my son (17). I fully understand English and French.
