About our home

Our cozy, family home was built in 1999, and has been recently renovated to create a modern feel. With large, comfortable sitting areas, an open concept kitchen, and a large wood stove to pump out the heat, this home is the perfect get away for those of you who want to experience Canada in the winter time. A three car detached garage will make parking simple, and leave your car warm for you in the morning.

Neighbourhood

Buzzy restaurants
Red Deer is full of restaurants. I believe we have one of the highest restaurant counts per capita in Alberta. Family owned restaurants are situated throughout Red Deer (including my favorite, the Indian Flame.) My husband prefers meat and potato kind of cooking, and the Ranch House is an affordable, family friendly restaurant not even 5 minutes away.
Cool bars
Red Deer has a handful of dance clubs of all different styles. From country dancing and two stepping to dancing to the latest hip hop songs, Red Deer has what you're looking for.
Cozy cafés
We are lucky enough to live in a city with many family owned and operated coffee shops. From the City Roast Cafe downtown to the Good Earth Cafe in the mall, Red Deer can meet all of your Java requriments!
Retail therapy
With two large mall complexes located in the city, and just a day trip from West Edmonton Mall (largest mall in Canada) or Cross Iron Mills (absolutely fantastic outlet mall) you'll have a hard time finding other things to do than shop.
Walks in the park
Red Deer is well known for its beautiful parks and paths. Take your pick. From Heritage Ranch for a walk with the horses to Bower Ponds to feed the ducks and geese, you have miles to walk on.
Spot of exercise
Red Deer has out door gyms as well as 3 public recreation facilities. All include pools, exercise facilities, and large open gyms to play badminton, basketball and volley ball.
Day tripping
The world is at your fingertips here in Red Deer. Perfectly situated in Central Alberta, you can make day trips almost anywhere. From our famous mountain towns of Canmore, Banff, Kananaskis, Panorama and Jasper, to the large cities of Edmonton and Calgary, you'll make unforgettable memories anywhere you go.
