Sherbrooke is heaven between mountains and rivers. Hiking trails, beaches, bike and nature trails...natures is there awaiting for you. The city also offers various museum and great reataurants. There is a lake right in the heart of the city with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The area is known for its agricultural tourism and some well knows vineyards. The city of Sherbrooke is less than 90 minutes away from Montreal and 2 hours away from Quebec city. It is also very close to the American border which means less than 4 hours from Boston and about 6 hours from NYC.
We live in a quiet residential neighborhood with a city park very close by where there is a run or walk trail, playground, tennis courts and soccer fields.

My husband and I are in our mid-thirdies and have a 4 year old son. I am a English as a second language high school teacher and my husband is an urban planner. We are both from the subburbs of Montreal, but moved here 7 years ago and fell in love with the Eastern townships. We love to travel as a family and hope to be able to do a lot more of it with the help of house swapping.
