About our home

Our house functions as a deluxe two-bedroom suite. It is perfect for one couple, or, two couples to share, or, suitable for a small family.

The living room has a fireplace and views of the Avon River and surrounding parklands. Throughout the property, one will find only the best in modern North American and European designer furnishings. Both the master and guest bedrooms feature queen sized beds with down comforters and pillows, with the best quality linens sourced from Ireland. The house does not have an elevator, and therefore is not suitable for anyone who cannot climb stairs.

We have hosted exchange guests during the months of MAY, JUNE, OCTOBER and DECEMBER (Christmas + New Year's). If we are around when you plan to visit, seasonal healthy breakfasts are included, prepared by the house chef. Daily morning housekeeping is included, as well as wireless internet, parking for two vehicles on site, and many other added extras to make your stay most enjoyable.

Unfortunately, we cannot host exchange guests during JULY, AUGUST, and SEPTEMBER, as we rent the property during those months.

The house was chosen as a "Record House" by Architectural Record in April 2002. In 2004, our property was chosen for inclusion in, The Phaidon Atlas of Contemporary World Architecture, and in the book WhereAbouts: New Architecture with Local Identities.
