About our home

2400 sq foot home in an upscale quiet beach community called White Rock, a 20 minute drive south of Vancouver (5 minutes to the USA border and 3 hours to Seattle). Bus/transit to front door or use our Rav 4 Toyota 2007 automobile to travel where you like: to the mountains iat the ski resort of Whistler, downtown Vancouver sites such as Stanley Park, Granville Island, the fine arts and clubs, theater, or local wineries. We have Hiking and biking trails, walk along the seawall, enjoy fine local dining in White Rock.

Our home is in a cluster of 16 units with private driveway, very safe, wonderful neighbors retired and working. Our home is bright, spacious, formal dining and living areas as well as cozy family room, fireplaces, skylights in an updated kitchen with granite counters, stools for casual eating. White Rock is central to everything yet offers a subtle friendly community with fitness facilities, biking, hiking, beach play, shopping, and excellent access to the West Coast areas. Explore or stay put. Our lifestyle is active, usually away in Baja, Mexico for the winters (nov.-April) leaving our home available. We can offer a summer (June-Sept.) vacation as we travel in our Motor Home to the USA. We would like to visit Melbourne area in December - January 2016/17. For approximately 2 weeks. Looking to visit a couple areas in New Zealand as well. Hope to hear from you.

Quiet beach walks, park walks or strolling on the seawall are at your front door. Bus/train public transportation is at the front door or use our 2007 Toyota Rav4 to explore the bustling city life in Vancouver (20 minute drive), the USA (5 minute drive) or our local area with shopping, wineries, hiking and biking trails (we have bikes), fine and local casual dining, movie theatres, and everything you could want. Our home is one of 16 in a small cluster of homes, one driveway into our culdesac, very safe, very friendly retirees and working neighbors who would love to meet and help you out. The ocean is a 10 minute walk, most enjoyable after dinner to stroll the seawall. Want to visit Vancouver or British Columbia tourist sites such as Stanley Park or Whistler. It is easy as our hiways make connections quick and easy.

My husband and I are both retired, aged 66 and 56. We usually winter in Baja, Mexico on our property in LaVentana. My husband taught for 33 years, physical education while I have a Masters level of university in health administration. We have an adopted kitty cat from Mexico to fill our home. We are generally active kiteboarding in Baja and then playing golf in the summer if we aren't hiking, biking, enjoying life with friends.
