About our home

We live in a typical Toronto brownstone in a very lively and convenient neighbourhood. The main floor of the house has an open plan living room, dining room and newly renovated kitchen. There are five rooms located on the second and third floors: a master bedroom, a second bedroom (furnished with two single beds), a play room full of books and toys, an office and a TV room. We have extra cots so the play room, office and/or TV room can be easily converted into bedrooms. There are two bathrooms: one powder room and one full bath. In short, our home is ideal for a family with children.

Buzzy restaurants
So many good ones to recommend but a few nearby are Frank's Kitchen, Oyster Boy, Black Skirt, Splendido, Grace, Guu and Banjara. You'll never go hungry here.
Cool bars
We're not too far (but just far enough) from the strip of cool bars on Ossington and Queen Street West plus there are several good bars closer by on College Street.
Cozy cafés
The Linux Caffe is just a few doors down and nearby you'll find Sam James, Lit Espresso, The Slow Room, Green Grind, The Bean.
Retail therapy
Coal Miner's Daughter, Girl Friday, Ziggy's at Home, Lilliput Hats, the ReFinery, Basics Apparel, Skirt.
Bit of culture
The Royal Cinema, the Royal Ontario Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario.
Walks in the park
We're surrounded by parks: Bickford across the street, Christie Pits to the north, Trinity Bellwoods to the south, Dufferin Grove to the west and High Park a bit further west.
Spot of exercise
Ice skating at one of the park rinks or how about a 6km jog downhill to Lake Ontario?
Day tripping
Niagara Falls, skiing, Toronto Island.
