About our home

Hello!

Our three bedroom house is very child-friendly as 7-year-old and 10-year-old boys live here. (We also have one lovely cat named Foo, who spends much time outside in the summer.) There are two bathrooms, living room, and TV room. The basement has a play area, as well as a home-office area with a computer and printer, and laundry facilities.

There is a small garden as well, and I have a car available also, with a childseat in the back if you need that.

There are food shops, a large grocery store, pubs and coffeee places within a couple of minutes walk as well, so it is very convenient to stay here and explore what the city has to offer. Toronto has great dining, music, theatre, and lots of city festivals going on in the summer. Niagara Falls is a 2-hour drive away, and there are other lakes and provincial parks in close driving distance as well.

Our Toronto home has very easy access to a large public park (High Park), the Lake Ontario waterfront, and downtown attractions are right outside the door with three streetcar routes and an underground station closeby. There are lots of activities in the summer in Toronto at Harbourfront, Ontario Place, museums, and galleries

The actual street is good for children because it is a "dead-end" street (so no traffic) with little children's park on it, and several other families with children. But it would be fine for people without children too, because there are pubs and a jazz bar down the street, and downtown is not far away.
