About our home

We live in a clean, bright, two bedroom bungalow. Queen size bed in first bedroom, single bed in second. Fully equipped galley style kitchen. Upstairs bathroom renovated in 2008 includes soaker tub and rain shower head. There are two televisions on the main floor, one in the main bedroom, the other in the living room, both have DVD/VCR players. Large TV room in the basement with surround sound and U shaped couch which can accommodate two people sleeping. We have a square shaped backyard with full patio set and large barbeque to enjoy those late summer evenings, and our driveway can accommodate 3 mid size cars.

We live in the Upper Beach/Hunt Club neighbourhood in the east end of Toronto. The beach is within walking distance (10-15 minutes). Public transportation is right around the corner and downtown Toronto is about a 20 minute subway, 30 minute streetcar ride away. We are centrally located in a very family oriented neighbourhood and can walk to shops along Kingston Road or Queen Street East where you will find fantastic restaurants, movie theatres, bars/pubs and shops. Walk the nature trail from Kingston Road to Queen Street and you'll forget you are in a city.

My husband and I were born and raised in The Beach and believe it is the best neighbourhood in Toronto. The feeling of a small town in a big city. I work at a downtown hospital and my husband is a chef downtown. We love spending time at the beach in the summer with our daughter, going out for dinner at our local eateries with friends and having barbeques in the backyard. It is a great area for children as there is a school with playground equipment two blocks away and a park with a swimming pool, baseball diamond and horseshoe pit five blocks away, as well as the beach.
