About our home

Spacious and welcoming designer decorated city home nestled amidst a private 3/4 acre garden setting, with sweeping views from our terrace of mountain ranges, ocean and Canada's oldest and most prestigious golf course, the Victoria Golf Club. Downtown is 10 minutes by car from our charming Oak Bay heritage neighbourhood. Vancouver and Seattle are a short ferry or plane ride away. Nearby coastal and woodland hiking, fishing, golfing, cycling, sailing, sea kayaking, canoeing, whale watching and so much more abound within minutes of the front door. From our delightful airport you can catch a direct flight to San Francisco for the weekend. How romantic!

Our home was designed to suit "empty nesters " and our active retired couples' lifestyle of entertaining and family visits with grown children and friends from Toronto. There are lots of interior and exterior spaces and places for privacy including a second and first floor gallery sitting/reading area, first floor den/office and very large outdoor front and back stone terraces with lounging and dining areas. In addition to our second floor master bedroom with his and hers ensuite bathrooms and dressing rooms, there are two guest bedrooms each with private ensuite bathrooms. The largest guest room is on the first floor, making it very private from the upstairs master suite. The smaller guest room is secluded at the end of a long hall on the second floor. There are lots of spaces and places for privacy within our home and therefore it is ideal for a couple traveling with other adults, or with children of no less than 9 years of age. For just the two of you...it is a very romantic home in a very romantic setting! Did I mention the sunsets and beverage fridge for wine and champagne?
