About our home

We are on Vancouver Island just west of Washington state. Our city was named for the Empress Victoria and it retains the flavour of the Victorian era. Traditional English Afternoon Tea is still served at the Fairmont Empress Hotel. Our home offers spectacular views: of sunsets, the Gorge Waterway and two mountain ranges. We are in a bird sanctuary. We are on the arm of the Inner Harbour next to the well known Galloping Goose biking and hiking trail that stretches the length of the Island from East to West.
Our home is a condo unit in a five year old concrete and steel building. The building is in a quiet cul de sac and offers high security with keyed single floor entry.
Our condo is equipped with a piano, an espresso maker, and a library of good books to read. We have HDTV in the bedroom and living room, high speed Internet , a washer and dryer, gas cook top and high quality bedding. There is very clean and safe underground parking.
You can hike or bike or you can rent kayaks, canoes and SUP boards to use on the Gorge or nearby on the Ocean. One block along the waterfront is an excellent restaurant with a waterfront patio. Victoria has a range of ethnic and foodie restaurants and markets. You can visit local wineries and market gardens.
There is a lively theatre and music scene and many local artists show in our galleries.
We recommend the athletic facilities at the Hotel Grand Pacific for their gym and swimming pool.
Find us on Google map at 365 Waterfront Crescent.
