About our home

Located in the most desirable area of Greater Vancouver, this furnished West Vancouver colonial style home is situated at the end of a quiet, child friendly cul-de-sac on an estate-sized property overlooking a salmon bearing creek and green belt. If privacy and tranquility is what you are after then search no further. With over half an acre of forest including a creek, the setting is a stunning west coast wilderness.

Upon entering the home you are taken by the beautiful golden oak hardwood flooring that covers most of the 3000 square foot of living space. Straight ahead lay the stairs that lead you up to the second floor which boasts five bedrooms with enough beds to sleep up to 10 people. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet and charming en suite. If needed, a hallway door can be closed to provide additional separation between bedrooms.

Back on the main floor for larger gatherings relax in the well appointed living room with large windows to take in the south facing light and forest canopy. Eating indoors? Take a few steps over to the formal dining area, dim the lights, and enjoy your home cooked west coast meal paired with a nice BC wine. Through one set of French doors you are whisked into the inviting family room, equipped with a flat screen TV and cozy wood burning fireplace just perfect for curling up with a book. Sink into the plush sofas, put your feet up on the ottoman and reminisce of your days adventures.

Want some fresh air? From the family room, step out through another set of French doors and onto the brand new and south facing 500 square foot cedar deck overlooking creek and forest. Throw a fresh BC salmon on the BBQ and enjoy outdoor dining at its best in the elegant patio furniture. If a chill happens to be in the air, simply turn on the patio heater to stay toasty all night.

The bright and clean kitchen is equipped with all standard appliances plus those not-so-standard appliances such as rice cooker, waffle maker, popcorn maker, juicer and more.

Location, location, location!!! One of the best features of this home is its strategic location to enjoy all that Vancouver has to offer if mountain recreation is what you seek, Cypress and Grouse Mountain are a short 15 minute drive away and world famous Whistler Mountain is just over an hour away. The beach and local hotspot, the Sea Wall, are only 5 minutes away. If you are interested in taking the ferry for a day trip to Vancouver Island, that too is only minutes away. If you have children in tow, within a short walking distance are basketball and tennis courts that are free to the public as well as couple playgrounds.

The area, known as Cedardale, is one of the quietest neighbourhoods in West Vancouver. Like its name suggests, it is full of beautiful old cedar trees which are home to many indigenous birds such as robins, humming birds and woodpeckers as well as four legged creatures like raccoons and squirrels.
