About our home

We have a lovely two bedroom home (975 square feet) with a semi-finished basement, cozy wood burning stove in the living room (as well as central heating) . New Cork and Hardwood Floors, two bathrooms, brand new laundry facilities. New paint throughout. Home is in a Trendy Neighbourhood but on a quiet street

Osbourne Village is The trendiest neighbourhood in Winnipeg featuring boutique local shops and an array of exciting dining opportunities ranging from upscale organic, Ethiopian/Eritrean, Modern, Sushi, Italian, Tex Mex and more. All major public transportation routes go through the village and can take you to any of the tourist attractions that are not within walking distance. In the Summer the River Spirit boat is a five minute walk from our house. Take this Boat down to the Forks or to St. Boniface (the French Quarter) in the Winter, enjoy the longest Skating Rink in the world (16.5 km) or Cross Country Ski to your destination. Our house is a 20 minute walk to the stunning legislative building, the largest provincial legislature building in Western Canada. A 10 minute bus ride will take you to the Exchange District which is the largest protected historical district in Canada. Enjoy it's many small art galleries housed in 19th Century warehouses. In Winter take a bus (or cross country Ski) to Fort Gibralter for the Festival de Voyageur a 10 day outdoor festival that celebrates the rich French heritage of Manitoba. In the summer enjoy the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Folklorama, Winnipeg Jazz Festival, Winnipeg Fringe Festival and many other smaller festivals in and around Winnipeg.

I am a stay at home Mum and my partner, Jason, is an independent producer and community organizer. We have one child, William who is 1 year. We both enjoy world travel and are eager to take our young family on vacations in other parts of the world. We love Music and play various instruments including banjo, guitar, piano and accordian. We speak French and English at home.
We have been invited to a wedding in New York City in February and are hoping to find a place to swap around the 14th of February in or near New York City (Chelsea)
