Casa Naranja is located on Playa Ventanas, a pristine and beautiful white sand cove beach immediate north of, and connected to, three-mile long Playa Grande.

Playa Grande and Playa Ventanas are nesting grounds for the Leatherback Turtle. The general area is a dry tropical rainforest with a wide variety of wildlife, including Howler Monkeys, iguanas, parrots, pelicans, Frigate Birds and hermit crabs.

Nearby activities include surfing world-class breaks, snorkeling and diving, inshore and deep-sea fishing, golf, horseback riding, sunset sailing cruises, rainforest canopy zipline rides and bull riding fiestas. Or, just stroll the gorgeous beaches and swim the warm, crystal-clear waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Walking distance away is the village of Playa Grande, where you can find surf shops and quaint bars/restaurants. Tamarindo is only a short drive, or beach walk and water taxi away. There are a number of well-stocked grocery stores in the area.

Casa Naranja is a hacienda-style beach house with a complete set of amenities, including a large pool, Jacuzzi, screened-in rancho, BBQ area with gas and wood grills, cable flat screen HD TV, wireless high-speed Internet, and ceiling fans/AC throughout.

Enjoy over 2,500 square feet of gracious living space that includes three bedrooms with AC, ceiling fans and U.S-grade queen beds. Larger groups will appreciate the extra accomodations provided by two kitchens, two family rooms and multiple terraces and patios.

Jump in a hammock and enjoy the lavish tropical gardens and sounds of the surf. Take of cool dip in the pool or enjoy the soothing jets in the Jacuzzi. Watch fabulous sunsets every night from our private spot on the beach.

The property has gated, secure parking for two vehicles, a full laundry and maid service.

Casa Naranja is perfect for romantic getaways as well as fun-filled vacations with family/friends.

For families that wish to immerse themselves with a long-term visit, there are several U.S.-grade schools nearby.

You can get to Casa Naranja from anywhere in the U.S. in four to 12 hours flying time, depending on your location. All you will need is a U.S. passport. There are no additional visa requirements for U.S. citizens. You can get along very easily in Costa Rica without having to speak Spanish. You will find that Costa Ricans love to help you learn Spanish if that is something you want to do, and most speak very good English.

Our two gentle dogs may be traveling with us to U.S. destinations only.

You are welcome to bring your pets to Casa Naranja. The entire hacienda is enclosed by a 10 feet wall/wrought iron fence. Dogs will love walking the beach and swimming in the ocean.
