About our home

Large house (285 m2) with nice garden 1000 m2,large terrace, balcony with sea wiew. Located in Risskov, 6 km from Aarhus city centre (15 min by bus, 10 min by local train)in a quiet area close to public transportation incl. airport busses. 10 min by foot to nice long sandy beach. Close to shopping.
2 bathrooms - one with tub and shower - one with shower, one extra shower room in basement, one extra toilet room at entrance. 5 bikes. Families/seniors welcome. Cable-Tv and computers with fast internet access incl wifi. Car possible (Skoda Octavia, max. 5 persons) if insurance can be arranged.

Aarhus is Denmarks second largest city (300.000 inhab.)Denmark is a small country, and it is easy so see a lot in a short time. Very much to see and do in Aarhus: shopping, galleries, museums, restaurants, cafees, entertainment. Beautiful countryside. Distances: Legoland 1½ hr. Copenhagen 3½ hrs. Skagen 2½ hrs. Lake area (Silkeborg) ½ hrs. West coast of Jutland 2 hrs. German border 2 hrs. Airports: Billund 1½ hr (direct bus), Aarhus 30 mins (direct bus), Copenhagen 3½ hrs. (train from terminal 3). Hamburg 4 hrs.

Jan,a family physician and medical teacher working in own clinic in the centre of Aarhus. My wife Annette is a coach and consultant working from home. Our children: Sofie, 17 high school, Anne 22 and her friend Esben 24, both studying. All are non-smokers. Donna, our Berner Sennen dog, 9 and Molly the cat 13. Molly is the chief and will be in the home when you are here. Needs a just little food and water. Donna will be at friends.
We speak english, german, norwegian, swedish and danish.
