About our home

Beautiful 1920’ies home, completely restored by us in 2005. Contemporary Danish design based on the principle of aesthetic simplicity. Modern, yet cosy and comfortable. Equipped with everything you need for a great vacation.

Situated in a safe and friendly neighborhood, 15 minutes from downtown Copenhagen, and only 10 minutes from the beach. Access to car and 4 bikes (Copenhagen is a great place to bike), as well as extensive public transportation.
The house contains a nice living room with fireplace and TV and direct access to the garden, a modern kitchen in open connection with the dining room, an office, a master bedroom with separate bathroom, and two additional rooms sharing a bathroom. Lots of stuff to do for the kids: basketball hoop, fully equipped music room with electronic drums, guitars and keyboard, Playstation and games, wifi, etc. With direct access from the dining room, we have a large deck with tables and chairs and a barbeque. From the deck, there is direct access to the garden.

Copenhagen is a historic city - with roots that go back to pre-Viking days - and it is a gloriously royal city, too. Yet Copenhagen is also a distinctly modern city, known for its creative, innovative design and architecture, and its world-class cuisine (in fact, it boasts the most Michelin-star restaurants of any city in Scandinavia). The cultural scene offers everything from the world-renowned Royal Danish Ballet to sizzling jazz clubs and countless museums and galleries.

On Copenhagen's cobblestone pedestrian streets, visitors are greeted by funky boutiques, myriad cafés, major department stores and antique shops. Copenhagen is a lively, charming and safe city, and the Danes are known to be hip and friendly. People will speak English everywhere you go.

While you are here, go for a day trip to Sweden, or jump on the plane and get to any other European capital within an hour or two.
