About our home

Our neighbourhood, Sluseholmen, is new in Copenhagen and built on the water, so canals run between the buildings, and the water is very clean, so people use them for swimming in the summer (june - july - aug) - but even the during winter swimmers are seen around the canals.

In the winter - Sluseholmen is the essence of danish 'hygge' (cozy) to go for a walk by the canals or in the city, and come home to the light of the candles and the warmth of the couch.

Our apartment is full of light all year round - glass and water describes the feel of the apartment best - and it is on the 3rd floor.
There are 3 balconies, so nice weather can be enjoyed from each one of them, all day long. It is allowed to barbecue on the balconies.

The apartment has three bedrooms, one bedroom is used as work-at-home-office. There are two regular beds, one double and one single. It is possible to arrange for large deluxe airbed if needed.

The harbour bus leaves a 2 minute walk from the apartment and takes you to the center of Copenhagen (Nyhavn) in 30 minutes and the ride is beautiful.
Regular busses leave close by too, every 10 minutes, and take to you the main train station in 15 minutes.

Copenhagen is a shopping - dining - culture mecca, but beach and visits to the countryside only a few minutes away.
