About our home
Odense is the home town of Hans Christian Andersen and is a nice and friendly university city with nice parks, interesting museums and a beautiful zoo.
We live in a detached house built in 1931 and renovated several times since. Closed garden with swing and play house.
The house features 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6-8 people), 2 living rooms (en suite), 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and a study. It is 142 sq. meters plus 85 sq. meters cellar including laundry facilities.
Located 10 mins from Odense city centre by public transport, University of Southern Denmark and Odense University Hospital, this location is ideal for both vacation and Work stays. Bicycles available.
Several shopping options are 5 mins away by foot.
Also within walking distance are landmarks such as The Fynen Village, Holluf Gaard, recreational Spaces with concerts and barbecue possibilities, a golf course, a lake and a river. There are also excellent running paths and play grounds.
We have a very friendly cat that will take care of you during your stay.
Copenhagen is 1½ hours away by train as well as car.
There is easy access to the coast line by public transport, for example Kerteminde and Svendborg are cute coastal towns where sandy beaches are easy to reach.
