About our home

Our beautiful restored house, which can accommodate 12 people, is ideally located in the south of France. It has 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large living room area, Internet access, 3 TV, DVD, a special room for children to play, BBQ, washer, dryer, pool...

Our house is in the countryside, 1hr15 from Lyon in the North, 2h from Marseille and the sea, 3hr from Nice.

Buzzy restaurants: Michelin starred : Anne-Sophie Pic, (the only woman in France to have obtained three Michelin stars !), Flaveurs, La Treille Muscate, La Demeure de Grâne, Michel Chabran,Les cèdres, La Cachette, Régis et Jacques Marcon...
Cool bars: Wine and gastronomy : Drôme offers a cornucopia of fine produce – visit its mouth-watering markets for gorgeous fruit, veg and cheeses, or exceptional herbs, olives and truffles. Drôme wines are of a high quality, going from the exclusive appellation d’origine contrôlée (AOC) territories of Hermitage and Crozes-Hermitage in the north to the excellent Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône-Villages and Grignan-les-Adhémar (formerly Coteaux du Tricastin) AOCs in the south.
Retail therapy: Romans on the Isère is renowned in France for its shoe-making traditions – there’s even a beautiful museum devoted to the subject! Look out for the factory outlet stores both in Romans and other spots.
Bit of culture: Drôme is peppered with gorgeous villages : A few – La Garde-Adhémar, Le Poët-Laval, Mirmande and Montbrun-les-Bains – are proud members of the exclusive association of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France, but there are countless further delightful, more secretive ones to seek out. Some of our prettiest villages and small towns specialize in arts and crafts, for example Dieulefit, with its potters, or Grignan, packed with boutiques below the theatrical castle. Others hold wonderful events, such as Crest, with its jazz festival, or Saoû, with its annual Mozart concert season.
Walks in the park: In the south, the bountiful Drôme Provençale is famed for its lavender fields, olive groves and truffles, its wines, fruit orchards and the nougat of Montélimar.Drôme is a very sweet county indeed, with enchanting villages and châteaux aplenty, but not too many tourists, so you’ll feel like you’re enjoying a rare treat when holidaying here
Spot of exercise: You can enjoy walking or cycling beside the Drôme river, canoeing or rafting on it, or even swimming in it. To the north stands the tremendous natural fortress of the Vercors Mountains. In summer, try hiking, riding or mountain-biking across its flower-strewn plateaux. You can hiking, canoe, cycling, golf
