About our home

Our beautiful, architect designed home, was completed in the summer of 2010. The villa’s location and aspect make it truly an idyllic setting: south facing, airy, spacious & overlooking the lake.
The villa was designed to make the most of the fantastic views with floor to ceiling windows on each level looking out towards the lake. The villa is spacious and modern with three floors, and private parking behind.
On the ground floor the luxury open-plan kitchen overlooks the living room area, and then straight out to the lake. A large dining room table comfortably seating a party of eight is perfectly positioned in front of the open plan kitchen. The patio doors lead directly on to a large balcony where another large dining table and a bbq are based for eating outside.
The basement floor leads directly onto the garden, where another dining table is located for summer dining and sun loungers for lapping up the sun! There is a TV/home cinema room on this floor as well as a spare bedroom, a spare bathroom, a laundry room and a garage area.
The master bedroom and the children’s bedroom are located on the top floor of the house. The master bedroom has its own private balcony and double patio doors as well as an open plan bathroom with a huge bath and separate shower. The children’s bedroom is large with its own ensuite bathroom with a bath/shower.
The villa has the advantage of being in a quiet part of Annecy, on a hillside overlooking the stunning views of the lake, whilst simultaneously being close enough to walk or cycle into the town itself to enjoy the numerous markets, restaurants, the bustling night life and of course the easy access to many different places nearby.
Annecy is a sports paradise. You can set off on several walks and cycling trips directly from the house, swim in the lake which is only 300 m away, play tennis at the local tennis club, run along the shores of the lake, hire a boat, go water skiing…. In the winter several ski resorts are only 30 -45 mins drive away…

In brief: Annecy is stunningly beautiful; the Chic Haute-Savoie capital is the perfect location for a holiday. Nestled around the northwestern end of the Lake Annecy against a pretty backdrop of Alpine peaks, the town itself is crisscrossed by ancient canals, geranium-covered bridges, medieval houses and arched alleyways perfect for meandering. A cycling path snakes along the lake’s southwestern shore and pedalos, canoes and cruise-boats pepper its water in summer
