About our home

Friendly house with a huge garden placed in one of the most appealing suburbs of Lyon, France's second city and - as many say - one of the culinary capitals of the world. Up the street from a typical French village, with friendly cafes and boulangeries. The house is next to the Beaujolais, with its famous vineyards and also within decent driving distance from Geneva and the Alps. 10 min drive into the old center of Lyon which is a must-see. The restaurants, especially the Michelin-starred ones, can be quite expensive, but they are so worth it :

The house has three bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom, a large living room with fireplace and a spacious, well-equipped kitchen.

The garden and the surroundings makes you feel like living in a park !

We usually travel around the kids' school holidays, but we are open to consider any other periods !

Buzzy restaurants: Lyon is the capital of gourmet food, Michelin starred restaurant is up the road
Cool bars: In Vieux Lyon
Cozy cafés: Just down the street, friendly village cafes
Retail therapy: For amazing food only, other shopping too expensive
Bit of culture: Great opera and excellent museums, Vieux Lyon is a must
Walks in the park: The huge Lacroix Laval park is next door, with its wonderful chateau
Spot of exercise: House is in the middle of nature, take your pick !
Day tripping: Beaujolais, Annecy, Geneva, Ardeche
