There is a lift but it may be important to note that from the lift you have to walk either up or down nine stairs. There is also a street market three times a week. You'll find the main tourist attractions are within easy walking distance, 10 - 15 minutes away - The Louvre, Notre Dame, The Pompidou Modern Art Centre, Le Marais. The flat is very close to 3 metro lines and many bus routes taking you all over Paris.
You are spoilt for choice; there are lots of cafés, bars and restaurants to suit every age and budget. The local supermarkets are 2 minutes walk away.
