About our home

Stone property built in local style in 2011 with quality materials on 4 acres. We use the land as our driving range to practice our golf from the raised golf mat. The pool (8m x 4m) is easily accessed from the huge covered terrace which wraps around 2 sides of the house (large gas bar-b-que, great for outdoor dining). The garden is mostly lawn with fruit trees.
We have 2 double bedrooms on the ground floor sharing a bathroom with bath and separate large walk-in shower and the master suite with 6ft bed, AC, TV and en-suite with large shower and double basin is in the pigeonier on the first floor.
The living area is quite open plan with the large kitchen flowing into the dining area and through to the living room which has a comfy sofa and 2 wonderful reclining leather armchairs, a 40" tv (all UK channels on satellite) and a woodburning stove. There is an office with wifi internet.

For long distance swaps we would also like to do a car exchange with our VW Passat (or the Golf) with GPS. There are 2 mountain bikes (1 man's & 1 ladies) for your use.

Although we don't think the house is suitable for young children, older children would be fine.

We are looking for a South of England exchange for 2 - 4 weeks flexible dates but including last week in June, 1st week in July. Also Australia (Cairns/Port Douglas area) for 3 - 4 weeks in September/October 2012.

The weather here is best from May to mid/end October.
