Villa Sita (as our villa is known) is located in Pererenan, Bali, near the town of Canguu. It is a luxurious villa built in a traditional Balinese style but with all the mod cons. It is situated on large parcel of land - 3300 sq metres in total.

I will attempt to describe the property, but I think the photos will give you the best idea of what the villa looks like.

As in traditional Balinese architecture, the building consists of pavilions or separate living spaces. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are in the same building and share an outdoor bathroom, the remaining bedroom is freestanding and has its own outdoor bathroom.

The large pavilion style living room is open on all sides and has a traditional alang alang (straw) roof. In this room there is a formal and informal lounge area as well as a dining area. A large screen TV is located in the informal lounge area. There is also a bathroom here. Beyond the living room there is a large pool with shaded areas to lie in or sun beds to do some sunbaking.

There are also several ponds, a bar, a BBQ area and a study and small gym.

Due to the layout of the villa, it is a good house for 2 families travelling together - there is plenty of space, so if you needed privacy you can have it.

The Villa comes fully staffed with a cook, 2 maids, gardener, driver, 2 security staff and the villa manager - 8 staff members in total. The staff are there to attend to your needs. There is also a car and driver that can transport you where you would like to go. We do not drive in Bali, so the car is there for you to use but only with the driver driving it. Although the staff will be provided with the villa, we do ask that they are tipped approximately US$10 per staff member per week. We always tip the staff this amount for each week that we stay in the villa to acknowledge the extra work that they do whilst we are there..

As we have a full time cook, the kitchen is her domain and she will provide you with what you request. There is no access to the kitchen for guests. Imagine not having to cook or clean or do the washing for your time at the villa - this is all taken are of so all you have to do is relax, lie by the pool and read a book. Your every need is catered for here at Villa Sita.
