About our home

Built in 2007 this house has 35 acres of land and offers open plan living with spectacular views. Underfloor heating and wooden floors throughout. 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are in the main house and 2 bedroom, bathroom and shower room, and sitting room with mezzanine sleeping area are in the guest annex. In a third building there is a gym with cross trainer, rower and power plate, and a studio. There are wonderful walks around the three lakes we have on our land that attract a wealth of bird life. The nearest beach is an easy 5/7min walk away, our local village is 2km and Skibbereen our local town 7km. The house offers complete privacy and seclusion. A car is necessary.

Buzzy restaurants
Mary Ann's, Castletownshend. Voted the best sea food pub in 2009. Our local pub, where the food and the guiness is excellent and the banter is even better. Island Restaurant, Heir Island - you have to take a boat to get there, only open june - August.
