About our home

Our home is fairly modern and stands on an acre of landscaped garden. We love the fact that we are completely rural with cows grazing in the fields surrounding the house but yet we are a short drive to the city of Dublin. Our neighbourhood is very friendly and full of small farmers. We keep 5 ponies at our neighbours as our kids compete at a high level so there is a possibility to ride and use our ponies. We also have a 7.5 ton horse lorry which is set out as camper van and this can be used too if you have the license to drive it. The area is lovely for walks and exploring and we have a huge deck out the back for chilling and BBQs. The house has wifi and all mod cons and is very comfortable. We have 2 cars and visiting family can use one. Dublin city is a wonderful city full of character with great restaurants, bars, theatre and culture and is only 20 minutes drive away so you have the best of all worlds. A rural peaceful retreat and lots of action on your doorstep. We can provide you with a list of lots of things to do and see.

Buzzy restaurants
Johnnie Foxes....highest pub in Ireland and best seafood...just over the mountain from us...
Cool bars
Too many to mention in Dublin...plus we don't get out much ourselves..

Bit of culture
Lots of theatres, National concert halls, great music festivals and good art exhibitions
Walks in the park
We live in beautiful countryside with miles of mountains, tracks and a gorgeous lakes....parks just don't do it with what we have on the doorstep but of course there are plenty in Dublin

We love living local anywhere in the world and hate package holidays. We like to be relatively active but are fairly easy going. We love good food, good service but not neccessarily luxury. We are very hospitable and like friendly places.
