About our home

Our beautiful Georgian home was completely refurbished in 2007 and features open fireplaces, period staircases and complementary antique furnishings. Accomodation consists of three reception rooms a large kitchen , a fully equipped childrens playroom,a teen dream mezzanine with xbox ,ipod stations and pc ,a full size pool table, a fully equipped gym , and wifi throughout makes our home an ideal holiday base. Nestling amongst the hills of East Clare with beautiful lake views, 30 mins from Shannon Airport, Dublin airport 2 hours,there is loads to do for all. There are five 18 hole golf courses within 30 mins. Hillwalking, ponytrekking, boating and fishing on Lough Derg are amongst the many pursuits available locally. Also there is a wide variety of dining experiences in the local towns of Tuamgraney, Scarriff, Killalloe and Ballina .Outside the manicured gardens are complemented with childrens play area and BBQ alfresco dining area. Our home is an ideal base for touring the west of Ireland and its scenic delights,surf the world renowned waves of West Clare, visit the Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry, King Johns Castle Limerick and many more attractions. The famous University of Limerick Activity Centre is a 3 minute drive where sailing, high ropes, archery, kayaking, canoeing can all be experienced. Guests can also avail of the Lakeside Hotel Leisure Centre with 20m swimming pool large slide, sauna, jacuzzi, steamroom, baby pool, creche and an extensively equipped gym.
