About our home

Our home was newly built in 2007. the property overlooks the ancient & magnificent scenery of Lough Derg & it's hinterland. It is a single storey property with simple clean lines. You enter the property through an elegant spacious lobby with high ceiling. To the right are the reception/living rooms, while to the left are the sleeping quarters. There are stunning views from the
rooms. The house is set on the mountainside but is only 12 minutes from the
bustling village of Killaloe. Killaloe is made up of charming narrow streets
flanked by old shops along the steep hill looking down on the 13th century
cathedral. The town was home to Brian Boru, the high King who united
Ireland against the Vikings, so this picture perfect town with it's Victorian
streets & old canal banks was once the capital of Ireland. Now a bustling
cosmopolitan little village with lots of restaurants, cafes & pubs you will be
spoilt for choice.
