About our home

Modern 3/4 bedroomed house for exchange in Kinsale, Co Cork, the gourmet capital of Ireland. Kinsale is one of Ireland's oldest and most beautiful towns, offering history, art galleries, restaurants, pubs, shopping, fishing, sailing, water sports, long sandy beaches, golfing at the Old Head, yet only 20kms from Cork international airport and ferry port.
Living room, dining room, kitchen, utility room, 3/4 bedrooms, 1 ensuite, play room with double sofa bed, some gym equipment. 2 large tvs with Sky+. 8Mb next generation wireless broadband.
Large enclosed garden with patio, gas bbq and slide, swings & trampoline for children. 5 minute walk to town.

We are looking to swap to Cornwall/Devon July/August 2013.
We are open to long weekends/midterm break swaps anywhere.

Buzzy restaurants: The renowned Fishy Fishy, Aperitif tapas and wine bar, Vista for lunch overlooking the yachts
Cool bars: The Greyhound for a traditional Irish pub, Seanchai for live music, Hamlets for the in-crowd
Cozy cafés: Poet's Corner cafe, Lemon Leaf cafe, Jo's ice-cream
Retail therapy: Cronin's gift shop, Offshore surf shop, Jane boutique, Footloose shoes
Bit of culture: Ghost tour from the Tap Tavern - great fun!
Walks in the park: Scilly walk (nothing to do with John Cleese..). Walk 40min to the town beach @Castlepark.
Spot of exercise: Kinsale Outdoor Education Centre/surfing in Garretstown
Day tripping: Old Head of Kinsale, and on to Clonakilty by the coast road
