About our home

Our house is 3,100sqft and was built in Dec 2009 and is on 3/4 acre of mature gardens over looking the Atlantic Ocean. There are uninterupted views of the ocean from every room in the house with a balcony from one of the guest bedrooms and the most gorgeous dining area with deck. During the sailing season from Easter onwards there can be up to 300 boats out racing which is quite a sight as they round a mark in front of the house. We love our home and have put a lot of effort into maximising the views. The house is filled with light and has a lovely southerly aspect.

Buzzy restaurants
There is a lovely restuarant within 2 minutes walk and several lovely seafood resturants in Crosshaven which is 2 minutes away by car.
Cool bars
Bunnyconnellans - only 200 yards from the house and with wonderful views.
Cozy cafés
There are numerous cafes and bars around
Retail therapy
Cork City only 30 minutes drive
Bit of culture
The Royal Cork Yacht Club - the oldest in the world
Walks in the park
We are halfway between the beaches of Fountainstown and Myrteville which is a gentle 30 minute walk from one to the other
Spot of exercise
Swim with dolphins if you are lucky. Every year we see dolphins from the house and we have a small boat and several lifejackets which you are welcome to use. Or how about some kite surfing or sea-kayaking?
Day tripping
Kinsale for some outstanding seafood restuarants and craft shops
