About our home

Our beautiful 3 stories house in perfect condition is situated in a green residential area of Amsterdam, just 20 minutes by tram to all the major sightseeing attractions in the city centre.

Ground floor: big living room with an open kitchen, toilet, big garden (40 m2), garage.

1st floor: 3 bedrooms (a master bedroom with a king size bed, another big bedroom with a single child's bed - a single adult bed is also available), a small bedroom with a baby cot, a bathroom with a tub and a washing machine.

2nd floor: a royal loft with a queen size bed.
Total: 140 m2.

Direct connection to the centre of Amsterdam: 15-20 minutes by tram (the stop is a 2 minutes walk from the house, the tram runs every 10 minutes from 6 in the morning till 12:30 in the evening), or 25 minutes by bike (3 bikes available, one with 2 child seats). 12 minutes taxi ride from the airport (around 30 euros), or 25 minutes by public transportation (train + tram, around 6 euros pp). From the airport - 2 hours by train to Brussels or other Belgian cities (Brugge, Gent, Antwerp), 3,5 hours by high speed train to Paris.

Lots of playgrounds in the neighbourhood, various supermarkets and drug stores (also open on Sundays), a beautiful big park with a lake (15 minutes walk or 7 minutes by bike).

In the house: WiFi, Hifi stereo, HD TV, movies on demand (always in original language with Dutch subs), all necessary kitchen amenities, lots of toys.

We are looking for a simultaneous swap with an appartment in Manhattan, NYC in late December - early January (early).
