About our home

Large, spacious city apartment with contemporary & kid-friendly features. The apartment's best feature is its large, child-safe, open balcony - sit out with a glass of wine in the evening and watch the sunset over Singapore. Stunning views over private residences in a prime Singapore district that stretch across the glitzy shopping belt of Orchard Road and the lush greenery of the Botanic Gardens - 5 minutes away from each! Our home was recently renovated and the master bedroom and children's room have equally beautiful views, lots of light. The study can be converted into a guest suite. Our kitchen has been designed for cooking large meals to entertain at home and we also have lots of toys to keep little ones occupied as well as lots of books for both adults and children. On the ground floor, you will find a large pool as well as a waddling pool for little ones, a function room with a deck that overlooks the pool as well as a children's playroom that opens out into a playground in the back.

Will put up more photos soon!

Buzzy restaurants
Kinki (Japanese) at Customs House, P.S. Cafe on Ann Siang Hill, Flutes at Fort Canning, The Disgruntled Chef & Tippling Club at Dempsey for dinner, Marmalade Pantry at Greenfairways for brunch, MingJiang at Goodwood Park Hotel for dim sum (one of the last few places with carts, traditional style)
Cool bars
Lantern, Level 33, (for a big night out at the clubs - Royal Room, Filter, Velvet)
Cozy cafés
Check out Club Street / Ann Siang Hill, E food & WIne & Jones the Grocer @ Dempsey, for local coffee go to Toast
Retail therapy
Spa Botanica @ Sentosa, Nicolas is my favourite local designer (retails at Tangs), Burgundy is another great local name (Wisma Atria), All Dressed up (Ion). For Men: to tailor suits & shirts - KingsMen, for reasonably priced made-to-measure ladies & men's button down shirts (for work) - Mens Tradition
Bit of culture
Singapore Art Museum, Perakanan Museum (and then pop into True Blue next door for the local dishes that define Singapore), take a walk along Haji Lane, Little India, Chinatown, Keong Siak Street (Singapore's original red light district - has now been gentrified with great restaurants and shops - must try Ember!)
Walks in the park
Botanic Gardens (Jacobs Ballas Children's Garden next door if your kids like waterparks and sand), Long evening walks at Hort Park
Spot of exercise
Sky Pilates @ Liat Towers (they also have a physiotherapist instructor who's great), Fitness First if you must gym, otherwise just run from our apartment into the lush Botanic Gardens through to the Cluny Road exit and back!
Day tripping
Bintan, biking at Pulau Ubin if you want to see what Singapore was like when I was growing up. Rent a boat and take it out from Sentosa to Kusu Island or out at sunset with lots of bubbly and good company. Or rent a boat with wakeboards. Outings with kids: Singapore Zoo + don't forget swimsuits (waterpark is excellent), Universal Studios in Sentosa
