The house is fully serviced with our long-term housekeeper. The bedrooms are most comfortable and 5 reception/living rooms (one being the verandah) all classily furnished with a homely feel.

A swmiming pool wraps around a tall Plane tree at the front of the house, ideal for lazy days in the heat, and there are tennis courts less than five minutes walk from the house. Tantallon nestles in a quiet suburb which is central to everything Cape Town has to offer.
The Newlands rugby and criket fields and the Western Province club complete with gym, squash and tennis courts are 15 minutes walk away.
Newlands forest with beautiful walks is a 10 minute drive from here, the Waterfront is 12 minutes and Cavendish shopping mall 7 mins.

Best time is all yrear round except the Cape has winter rains. If you want to see the totally unique phenomena of the Namaqualand flowers which is a drive up the West coast you need to come from August -October. The Protea are out May-August on the mountains in in our national parks.
