About our home

Located on Plettenberg Bay's famous central beach, the property forms part of an exclusive and secure beachfront complex in one of South Africa's leading seaside towns. With immediate access to a stunning swimming beach, through beautiful and well kept gardens, the complex also has its own private swimming pool. The property is a five minute drive from the charming and well equipped shopping area of Plettenberg.

The majority of the living area and one of the en-suite bedrooms are on the ground floor, and would be easily usable for people with mobility problems.

The house is part of a nine unit complex and therefore has a shared garden and swimming pool (approx 8 X 4m). It has its own small and private outside garden patio with a barbecue area and barbecue. There are outside chairs and cushions for seating and umbrellas.

The complex leads onto the beachfront and the house is a 60 meter walk to the beach. Plettenberg Bay's beaches are well known for their excellent swimming and have life guards on duty every day of the week.

Plettenberg Bay has two world-class golf courses, one designed by Gary Player, and each ten to fifteen minutes by car from the house. There are other world class courses along the Garden Route, the nearest being thirty minutes by car near Knysna.

Plettenberg Bay is served by two airports - George Airport which is 100km away, or Port Elizabeth which is 220km away. Car hire is essential and recommended. Plettenberg Bay is a five hour car trip from Cape Town.

The complex is 2km from the main shopping area of Plettenberg Bay. Other towns of interest are town of Knysna 30km, Knysna forest 15km, Natures Valley 30km, Robberg Peninsula 5km, Storms River Mouth 60km, Kurland Village and Polo fields 10km, Keurbooms River, boating and water skiing, 10km.
