The 20 hectareas Cortijo is situated in the heart of the Sierra of Grazalema, with spectacular views; it used to be a Roman house over 2000 years ago. The Cortijo can be swap or rent.There are 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There two supplementary beds and a sofa bed, allowing a maximund of 14 persons to sleep in total. The main house is built with the traditional Andalousian architecture; it is very cozy and comfortable, with a large kitchen, spacious dining room and a livingroom with a fireplace; decorated with lots of arts and craft details, rural objects from the region, large paintings and sculptures, modern and traditional furniture. It has all the commodities of the modern world (bathrooms with jacuzzies, hydro massage showers, central heating, tv, phone line, etc.) but with the feeling and energy of the country side; just 3 kilometers from the village of Grazalema, considered as one of the most beautiful villages in South Spain, 30 minutes by car from Ronda and Seville, and approximat. one hour from Marbella. The guest house has one bedroom, living room , kitchen, bathroom, fireplace... The farm is an animal reservation: there are Iberian wild goats, deer, many species of birds ...
A perfect place to walk around the field, hiking and trekking, to breath the pure air of the Sierra and to be in contact with nature. Near the main house there is a natural spring, dating from the Roman times, 24 hrs spurting mineral water...
Grazalema is a village of 2000 people, an important place for rural tourism, very well preserved, nice architecture and plazas, churches and narrow streets, every single house has white walls and roofs with red tiles. It has many restaurants, bars, cafés, tea places, shops and an old factory still manufacturing high quality clothes made with pure wool. The village is the best example of the Old Spain...
