About our home
Our beautiful, spacious architect designed house was finished in 2008. It is set in 2.5 acres of gardens with a stream andstunning views of the Knuckles mountains. It is 3,000 feet above sea level and enjoys an ideal climate of around 28c in the day and about 18c in the evenings, there is wildlife in abundence, particulary birdlife. We have full time resident caretakers (who have their own quarters) who will look after you like royalty and will ensure that your holiday is truly relaxing. The bungalow (Jungle Tide) is 11K from the World Heritage city of Kandy which is the historic Capital of the Kandyan Kings and has the most important bhuddist temple on the island as well as many other fantastic sights. Being situated in the centre of the island it is an ideal base for touring and sight-seeing. For further information please look at our website www.jungletide.com
