About our home

The Villa, is very near the beach. There are 2 double bedrooms with ensuites, a third bathroom, a well equipped laundry and a total area of 240 m2 . WCs 3, Car optional, No Children, No smoking, Air-Conditioning, including Wi/Fi internet (high speed). Number of travelers: 2

Our home is very comfortable, clean and quite spacious It is also extremely well located in that you can walk in less than 5 minutes to every facility that you need for everyday living. ATM, Post Office, Pharmacy, Hardware Store, 7/11 and “Corner Stores”, Massage/Beauty/Hairdressing, Greengrocer, Travel Agent, Car or Motor Bike Hire plus restaurants of every type. We also, being “locals”, have significant discount cards at all of the main hotels and resorts in the Nai Harn, Rawai and Kata area

The entry to our home is through a court which features a pond with bubbling pot and our gold fish – which we ask you to be good enough to feed twice a day while you are here. Naturally we will leave the food - a five second job!

The villa was designed by a leading Thai architect and has a strong Balinese design influence. It is the “Pavilion” style of architecture, comprising five “pavilions” around a 10m x 4m swimming pool. The largest “Pavilion” houses the main lounge, the adjacent dining area, the open plan kitchen, plus the third outside bathroom off the pool. There is an atrium garden with bubbling pot off the lounge and dining area. The covered patio outside the lounge overlooks the walled tropical garden, which is completely private. There is a second shallow pool with a waterfall cascading down into the swimming pool. The swimming pool also has a powerful “swim-jet” installed, so if you wish you can swim for as long as you like against it.

The Master Bedroom suite has a large en-suite and outdoor shower garden. It has a very comfortable King size bed, and is equipped with a widescreen Television, Video player and a computer. There is a desk and comfortable sitting area, if someone wants to read, write or watch television.

The Guest Suite has a King Size 4 Poster bed and day bed in the bay window. There is a walk in wardrobe area opening into the en-suite. This too has a walled outdoor shower with small tropical garden area. The suite has its own covered outside shaded awning with seating,

The fifth “Pavilion” was built as the third double bedroom, but we use it as an office, library, bar and for additional refrigeration in the large walk in wardrobe.

There is a separate "Pavilion" which includes the garage with automatic electric opening doors and the adjoining laundry.

The maid comes on Tuesdays and Saturdays and the pool boy and gardener on Saturdays.. The gardener also doubles for car cleaning and in need as a “driver”. However, if he is used as a driver he has to be paid in relation to the time involved. A car is available by negotiation. It is a white Honda Jazz with about 12,000 klms usage. The Jazz is ideal for the driving and parking conditions on Phuket and is unquestionably THE most popular car and model on the island.

This is now our main home and we naturally take very good care of it - we hope that people exchanging with us will take equal care.

Inside Services: Telephone, ADSL, WI/FI, Fax, Skype, 85 station cable TV most languages, 4 TVs, 3 DVD players, Computer, Printer, Scanner. We have many film DVDs and many of the latest better releases. There is also a reasonably good selection of books.

Kitchen and Washing: Oven, Microwave, Refrigerators/Freezers (3), Double Drawer Dishwasher, Automatic Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, Ironing Board and Iron. Maid does the ironing.

Outside: Two covered deck areas, tropical easy maintenance garden, swimming pool, outdoor shower.
