A perfect Cotswolds retreat; a typical English Country Cottage built in 1840.
My home is situated in a wonderful quintessential Cotswolds village only 8 minutes drive from the Roman Market town of Cirencester, the heart of the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire.

A pretty cottage in the heart of this rural working farm village. My cottage was built in Cotswold Stone in 1840 and surrounds an idyllic walled English country garden filled with roses and lavender. Pretty tables and chairsare dotted throughout the garden; sit outside in the summer with your gin and tonic/elderflower cordial and smell the scents of summer.

The Cottage:
Entrance door takes you into a fabulous, large kitchen which has been recently renovated to give a contemporary but homely feel. Electric oven and underfloor heating. There is a downstairs cloakroom which is accessed by a faux library bookcase (door).
Sitting room is very spacious, contemporary with a traditional twist. This room is very light, windows at either end of this sitting room. Higher ceilings than in a normal cottage so if you are tall then no problems. Open log fire gives the cottage a cozy feel when the temperatures dip. Logs available in the adjoining outbuildings.
There are 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom and a bathroom (pretty small but perfectly formed!) It does have a bath and shower.

TV and wi-fi.
Central heating throughout

I have my own designer clothes shop in the nearby town of Cirencester, just minutes drive away. I love to travel and have lived and worked in Asia and Africa. Happy to fly off at short notice if someone would like to swap. Penthouse in Sydney, Apartment in Paris, large house in the Hamptons, Pied a terre in London, beachside place in Hawaii...I'm open to suggestions.
I have a 18 year old son who is studying in Houston, Texas, and love to visit him...so anyone who has a swap in Houston (ideally The Woodlands) then please get in touch. Nothing too big, an apartment with communal pool would be lovely.
