About our home

Our apartment consists of a large living space (kitchen, dining area and lounge), our main bedroom with its en-suite jacuzzi bathroom, and a shower room on one floor, with a second bedroom upstairs in the converted roof space. All the rooms are large and spacious, and recently decorated. The apartment is on the first floor above the ground floor, accessed by stairs from a private lobby.

The lounge has oak flooring with a leather, corner sofa, a 105 cm plasma TV with English cable service, DVD player + digital radio + CD player + MP3 input in a stack system, and storage units. The dining area has an extending glass table with 6 seats. The kitchen has a granite floor and work surfaces, built-in oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/drier and lots of storage.

In the main bedroom is a queen size bed, 65 cm flat screen TV with english cable service, and an iPod/MP3 docking station. Upstairs in the second bedroom is a standard double bed and a Radio/CD player at one end, and a desk at the other end. The end wall of the upstairs bedroom has wall-to-ceiling windows that look down from the desk end onto the lounge area.

There is WiFi throughout the apartment. All the walls have sound insulation and noise from our neighbours is not heard.

In the apartment complex is a Residents' Gym available to all residents of the 24 apartments. This is very well equipped as can been seen in the photograph.

If you will be arriving by car or hiring a car while here, we can arrange for you to have a reserved car parking space in the residents' gated car park.

Our apartment is ideal for escaping the world after a hectic day spent sightseeing, exploring or shopping!

Our apartment is in the "Heritage Quarter" of Bedford and in a quiet area at the end of a cul-de-sac. The main town centre is 50 mts along a walkway between two 4 storey buildings and the River Great Ouse is a 2 minute walk away.

The town has a wide range of restaurants including Italian, Portugese, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, as well as British. We have many Italian people living in Bedford and so lots of choice with their restaurants and food shopping.

There are many interesting places to visit around Bedford including stately homes, vintage aircraft museum, wakeboarding centre, Santa Pod drag racing strip, indoor skydiving wind tunnel, safari park, Glen Millar museum, London gliding club, to name just a few. Bedford is ideally placed in a central location for sightseeing in other towns such as London, Cambridge, Oxford, Stratford-Upon-Avon and Birmingham, all of which are serviced by Bedford's train and bus service. Both the bus and train stations are an easy walk from our apartment.

Bedford is on a major, dual carriageway, road between the M1 and A1 main routes, and so has excellent links to all parts of the UK via the motorway network. London/Luton airport is the nearest airport at 30-40 min drive or by train.
