About our home

Our home is a light filled 18th century cottage 4 miles from the sea.

The house has been featured in several national news papers and a book "The Perfect Cottage". There is a 3/4 acre south facing garden with vegetables, fruit, a fire pit and lovely views. The rooms face south over looking the garden, all are a good size.

We are in a lovely quiet conservation village, Loders, with a good pub, a church and a school. There are lovely walks from the house in all directions including a few walks to excellent pubs with food.

It is 2 miles to the local market town, Bridport. With antique and farmers markets, a vibrant Arts Center and Cinema Bridport it has lots going on culturally and a wide choice of cafes and restaurants.

The nearest beach is Natural Trust owned Burton Bradstock, it has a celebrated seafood cafe and is stunningly beautiful all year round. We are in the middle of the world heritage Jurassic Coast so there is a big choice of costal walks and beaches.
