About our home

Lovely english country home of great character dated 1928, was remodelled by us 4 years ago with a contemporary twist. A mix of antique and contemporary furniture and decorative items from around the world, including original art. There is an open log fire for snug winters, lovely flower garden, orchard and heated outdoor swimming pool. Our ponies roam in our front paddocks, whilst deer roam in our back paddocks. Our gardener handyman lives in the adjoining cottage . 4 x 4 car available. The house is very private and secluded being surrounded by The New Forest National Park, so lovely walks and cycle paths are right outside the front gates. Ponies and cattle roam free here and there are many old character Pubs and restaurants nearby, as well as several very upmarket hotels and spas. Just 5 minutes drive to the charming historic Georgian sailing town of Lymington, with ferry link to the Isle Of Wight for day trips. The village of Brockenhurst is 1.5 miles with village shops, bank, restaurants and the mainline railway station to London a journey of 1.5 hours so possible for day trips. There are many attractions here for visitors additionally we can arrange some fishing, foxhunting (drag) or pheasant or clay shooting for you.
