Brackenhurst was formerly a 14 bedroom hotel and has been extensively refurbished to a 5 star luxury B & B with Gold Awards over the last three years. We close from October to April, So the whole house is available for swapping from these dates or the apartment for any time of year. We are situated in Snowdonia National Park just 15 mins drive from Dolgellau on the beautiful coast of West Wales, standing in an elevated position overlooking Cardigan Bay, the port of Barmouth and the famous Mawdach Estuary. Two minutes drive away is the fabulous Blue Flag sandy beaches of Fairbourne.

A warm welcome awaits you when you arrive at Brackenhurst. You will realise you have made the right choice as you see the most spectacular views. All our rooms overlook the sea so you can relax watching the most amazing sunsets over the Bay and Llyn Peninsular.

There is a eight person jaccuzi with Bose Speaker System situated next to our well stocked honesty bar, fitted out in a Naval theme.
