About our home

Our little cottage is 10 paces from the beach. We fully renovated it 2 years ago to provide the perfect seaside escape. The views over the water are fantastic, we are a gentle 5 minute walk into the beautiful town of Fowey and behind us are vast National Trust lands for costland walks. The 4th bedroom only has a little bed (children only) but the house works well for couples or families.

Buzzy restaurants: Sam's on the beach, Polkerris and The Old Quay House.
Cool bars: Brown Sugar and The Red Herring
Cozy cafés: Pinky Murphy's for a relaxed surfy retro feel
Retail therapy: Joules, Fat Face, Sea Salt and Cry of the Gulls
Bit of culture: Lost Gardens of Helligan. Daphne du Maurier lived in Fowey and wrote many of her novels there. Eden project
Walks in the park: Numerous stunning cliff top walks starting from our front door.
Spot of exercise: Swimming, sailing, fishing and walking.
Day tripping: North Cornwall for surfing, Padstow, Watergate Bay etc. Eden project. Many national trust gardens. National maritime museum Falmouth.
