About our home

Our lovely 16th century home (5000 sq ft) is based in the pretty river Thameside village of Wargrave, only 3 miles from Henley on Thames, famous for the Royal Regatta. Wargrave has its own train station which takes you directly to London Paddington in 35 minutes.

Our house is very welcoming, with large inglenook fireplaces, very comfy beds, flat screen TVs, cable TV and WiFi. We have a very friendly cat called Lola, who we would love you to look after, but we would quite understand if cats aren't your thing and would be happy to house her elsewhere for your stay.

We have good theatre connections and can arrange for London theatre tickets during your stay. We are very well situated for London, Oxford, Bath and the surrounding countryside, known as the Chilterns is stunning, with some beautiful villages and lots of cosy pubs to choose from.

We have a cleaner, Judith, who comes in once a week, but more visits could be arranged.
