About our home

We have refurbished this 500 year old Tudor Essex house and it has modern bathrooms and kitchens but still retains its charm and character. 2 acres of flower and orchard garden in middle of conservation area. We are ten minutes away from lovely village of Billericay and twenty mins from Brentwood town. There are some lovely gastro pubs in area including Bell Inn a few minutes away. London is a doddle as we are ten mins from the main a13 road that takes you all the way to London in 25-30 mins. Olympic village is only 20 mins away and is happening July 2012. Stable block with stable girl and three horses incl one small pony that can be petted and groomed under supervision. Dogs not kept in house. Riding school five mins away. Bridle paths for horseriding go on for hours without encountering roads or traffic. Excellent for walking,mountain biking .Lots of historic stately homes within 30 mins drive such as
Hever Castle(ann boleyn's home),Leeds castle is further but is magical and moated. Churchill's country home is an hour away. There is also a huge amusement park for kids about ten minutes from us called Festival Leisure Park and cineplex.
