About our home

Our home is a lovely red brick semi-detached Victorian in a beautiful road minutes from 175-acre Wandsworth Common (and Wandsworth Common Rail station which is about 7 minutes walk away. From there, it is 15 minutes ride to London Victoria. We also have the Northern Line tube nearby. This would bring you virtually anywhere central within about 30 minutes).

Wandsworth Common is a lovely, leafy park with several play areas for children, tennis courts, a bowling green, cricket and rugby pitches, 2 ponds and cafe/restaurant (The Common Ground) in the park. Running along the south side of Wandsworth Common is the Bellevue Road, home to lots of nice coffee shops, places to eat, bookshops, boutiques and the Michelin-starred Chez Bruce which is only minutes' walk from our new home. Another 10 minutes walk brings you to the wonderful Northcote Road, one of London's best neighbourhood shopping roads. Here you will find all sorts of boutiques (e.g. Cath Kidston, Petit Bateau, Jack Wills, LK Bennett, Emma Bridgewater, Question Air, Neal's Yard, etc.), restaurants/cafes (The Bolingbroke, Byron Burger, Antica Bologna, Brew), coffee shops, bars, etc.

With so much on our doorstep, you can enjoy everything London has to offer.

House Key Facts:
Master bedroom (King-sized bed/ensuite bathroom) featuring fireplaces in both bedroom and bathroom (with claw-footed tub, shower, etc).
4 additional good-sized double bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, 1 double, 1 twin). 2 additional bathrooms.
2 sitting rooms, both with lovely fireplaces and painted floorboards.
Neutral, updated kitchen with dining table on the garden end.
Laundry facilities are in the basement.

Outdoor space: lovely 92 foot landscaped garden which is south-facing for maximum sunshine. Plenty of space to sit outside with a book or a coffee, kick a ball or just relax. There is a summer house at the very end of the garden - perfect kid/teenager hangout room which features TV/Xbox and table tennis. Side entry passage (for bike storage/etc.) as the house is semi-detached; front drive with off-street parking.

With 2550 SF (very good-sized for London!), there is plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable.

Throughout the house are antiques and objects/art collected on our travels. We hope you will look at it as your possible home-away-from-home in London.
